Lillyburn Care Home Receives Prestigious Eat Safe Award
We’re proud to share that Lillyburn Care Home has been awarded the Eat Safe Award by Food Standards Scotland — a nationally recognised achievement that celebrates outstanding food hygiene and food safety standards.
The Eat Safe Award is designed to promote excellence in food safety across the catering industry, and is only presented to establishments that go above and beyond the legal requirements. The award is administered in partnership with local authorities and highlights a commitment to best practices in hygiene, cleanliness, and safe food handling.
This recognition reflects the exceptional work of our kitchen team at Lillyburn. While the award was granted during the leadership of our former Head Chef John, who retired in April, it was proudly collected by our new Head Chef, Matthew. Both John’s long-standing contribution and Matthew’s continued dedication ensure that our residents enjoy high-quality, safely prepared meals every day.
We’re also delighted to note that this isn’t a first for Pacific Care — Mosswood Care Home received the Eat Safe Award back in 2018, showing our group’s consistent dedication to excellent food safety standards across all our homes.
