Care That’s Right For You

Management Team

We are a family-owned, dynamic and progressive company with a portfolio of six care facilities located throughout the Central Belt of Scotland, working in partnership with North Glasgow Community Health Partnership and respective Local Authorities.

Our directors Brendan and John Brawley, along with Ian Marshall, have a proven track record in the care industry with a combined experience of over 40 years.

  • Brendan Brawley

    Director

With a quantity surveying background Brendan worked in the family construction business until the mid- 90’s. Rising to the role of Managing Director, he became involved in the early 90’s in the construction of nursing homes and identified an opportunity to provide better levels of service and facilities than were currently being offered.

Pacific Care was born and Brendan, with his brother John, combined their strength in construction to design and build the highest standard of care homes available. Excellent facilities alone were not enough… the standard of care must be what they themselves would want to receive… and that vision has positioned Pacific Care as a leading family operated care provider in the West of Scotland.

  • John Brawley

    Managing Director

As part of John’s eighteen year tenure in the family construction business, he qualified as a Quantity Surveyor in 1994 bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience that enabled him to grow the business.

In 1998 he became a Director of Pacific Care, using his skill set to construct the highest standard of care homes in the industry, and John continues that high standard in all new developments, as most recently seen at our Mosswood Care Home, Linwood. John’s attention to detail and belief that residents should have the best facilities and levels of care sets Pacific Care as a market leader in care provision.

  • Ian Marshall

    Clinical Director

Qualifying as a staff nurse in 1996, Ian has over 25 years of nursing and clinical management experience. He possesses a great depth and breadth of knowledge having worked across several clinical fields include acute care, emergency care and specialist palliative care.

It is in specialist palliative care that he excelled, working within all areas of palliative and end of life care, leading the development and delivery of services both in the acute, community and secondary care settings. Ian reached the rank of Captain in 205 (Scottish) Field Hospital for the Queen Alexandra Royal Army Nursing Corps, and spent 8 months in Basra, Iraq in 2004.

His commitment, dedication and professional ambition to provide continuous, high-quality care will enhance and deliver the market-leading care provided by Pacific Care.
