Care That’s Right For You

Keeping our residents fulfilled and happy is one of the most important things we do. We believe this is not just the role of our experienced activity staff, but the responsibility of every member of our team in every interaction with our residents.

  • Something for Everyone

Daily activities are an integral part of the care we offer and are not viewed as something that only happens at a particular time of the day. Our activities are both structured and unstructured, group or one-to-one, depending on each individual resident's interests and needs. Offering everything from dedicated reminiscence rooms to shopping and day trips to arts and crafts and pet therapy, our list of activities has been designed to keep life interesting, fun, and stimulating.

  • Activities

    Some examples include:

Exercise classes and chair aerobics, Tai Chi, gardening, music therapy, in-house coffee shops, shopping and day trips, visiting singers and entertainers, reminiscence therapy, local community visits, quizzes, internet access, flower arranging, board games, arts and crafts, pet therapy.

  • Local Community

The local community plays an integral role at all our nursing homes and we have excellent links with local schools, churches and groups such as Alzheimer’s Scotland.

  • Look Good… Feel Good

To feel good about ourselves, we need to feel good about our appearance. At Pacific Care, our residents can visit our in-house hair salons or spa treatment rooms. Offering a selection of treatments and therapies, from manicures and pedicures to massage and chiropody, our residents just love the convenience and sense of community our in-house facilities provide.

My mother is treated with care, concern, love, and dignity. Care is taken even with the choice of clothing she wears. Everybody who works here is a team member - their goal being the absolute comfort and well-being of the residents.
