Day Trip to Lochwinnoch

Following a lovely drive down through the country side to Castel Semple, the party of 11 residents and 3 carers enjoyed being by the loch and watching the boats sail past and the children engaging in their water sports. It was a glorious day and residents enjoyed feeding the swans as well as sharing a laugh at Fiona’s antics after she was chased by a swan looking for more bread!
A great picnic was prepared by Karen in Stanely Parks kitchen and was enjoyed by all. Betty (a resident) said that she, “loved the view”, as it was, “so peaceful and relaxing”, and the trip brought back happy memories for one resident, Billy, who used to come to Lochwinnoch for long walks with his family. A great day out!
