Flower Arranging

Volunteer Gemma organised an afternoon of flower arranging for the ladies. The participants had plenty of tea and cake to eat as they got busy arranging their flowers.
Ella, Mary and Barbara were seen chatting about the lovely colours of the flowers. To get started the group picked their favourite flowers which they would then add to their pots with other foliage. Hilda requested that her arrangement of flowers be displayed in her bedroom to show off to her family when they visit.
Gemma said “It was so nice to see the ladies talking about the gardens they used to have. The flowers will be on display in the dining room.”
Gemma invited the ladies to a bingo afternoon next Friday and thanked them for allowing her to spend time with them.
