Sister Homes Enjoy Afternoon Tea

Stanely Park and sister home Mosswood have maintained a strong connection with each other over the years and frequently enjoy joint activities and events.
A group of residents from Mosswood paid a visit to Stanely Park today. Chef Karen likes to spoil visitors and was happy to prepare a lovely afternoon tea to be served upon their arrival. Stanley’s finest china was enjoyed and the tea was complimented with dainty sandwiches, scones, pastries and homemade tablet.
The tea was served by staff who were helped by Sarah, who is currently at College studying Nursing and is working at Stanely Park on her College placement.
The occasion was very special for Beth and Minnie who have been lifelong friends for over 30 years and had a lovely time meeting up and chatting over coffee. Minni was heard asking “who is that princess” as Beth walked in the room.
The shared events are always a success and residents from both homes are looking forward to meeting up next time.
