Mother’s Day Drop-In Café

Lillyburn Care Home invited residents and their relatives to their drop-in café in celebration of Mother’s Day, held this year in our Arran Suite. The scene was set with the suite beautifully decorated and the finest china tea sets used to serve the delicious afternoon tea.
Everyone commented on how lovely the selection of freshly made sandwiches was as well as the exquisite home baking prepared by chef that morning.
Jean Martin’s family commented on how impressed they were with the Café and the standard of food that was served. Jack’s family asked to have their afternoon tea served in the garden and although there was a bit of a nip in the air, they very much enjoyed their afternoon in the beautiful surroundings.
