Grand National 2018

To celebrate the Grand National, staff arranged for residents to watch the event and even take part!
Prior to the race, cheese and wine was served and the residents picked their horses. Laughter filled the room as some of the horse’s names were called out, along with their odds.
As the race began, you could tell that everyone’s full attention was on the television screen as they cheered on their horse. The winners were Jean, Freda and Cathy who decided to share their winning chocolate around the home for all to enjoy.
Senior Carer Carole said “It was a great afternoon with everyone in the home taking part in all the excitement.”
