Woodlands Primary Intergenerational Quiz

Each fortnight residents from Mosswood Care Home visit Woodlands Primary School in Linwood to practice their general knowledge, helping to keep their brains ticking over but with the added bonus of getting to know the children better.
They work together as a team as some of the questions are aimed at the older generation and others are very current. The children are very quick with their answers as they have been doing extra practice in between sessions, and are very inquisitive about how old our residents are and what they enjoy doing.
There are various categories including; the Olympics, music, film and television, and laundry day. Residents and pupils enjoy chatting together, sharing experiences and likes and dislikes.
Everyone is looking forward to our trip to the Lagoon Centre in November to compete against other schools. Let the competition commence!
