Spooky Goings On at Day Care

Staff at Birdston Day Care all got into the spirit of Halloween by getting dressed up for the occasion and enduring some strange looks on public transport!
We began the celebrations in the morning playing traditional games like dookin' for apples, the mummy wrap, and a very messy version of catch the donut.
After all the fun clients had a break with a lovely buffet lunch served in the Nursing Home, which went down a treat. After lunch we were entertained by Sharon Day who had everyone up dancing and singing along.
There was a prize for our best dressed client, won by Moira Fraser and she was over the moon! Runner up, Nancy Hyslop, who came as a cowgirl got a prize for her great effort.
Our activities co-ordinator Margaret would like to thank all staff for their hard work and participation on the day! You all done great!
