Beach Party

Mosswood Care Home held their annual beach party to celebrate Summer alongside entertainer Stuart Macdonald.
The summer themed party is always a hit amongst residents. Many of our residents recall their most treasured experiences of the summertime and it’s always lovely to see them enjoying memories with their fellow residents at Mosswood.
Stuart is a talented singer and was given a big cheer on as he sang a selection of summer songs. He did a great job at getting the party moving with the hokey cokey and the slosh.
Many of our residents at Mosswood are keen singers such as Eunice who stole the show to sing ‘When Irish Eyes Are Smiling’ and John who sang ‘Danny Boy’.
The event was Stuart’s first time entertaining at the home and he said ‘I thoroughly enjoyed the party and it was so nice to see both residents and staff singing and dancing to the music.’
At the end of the day, Anne said ‘What a fantastic afternoon, when is the next party?’
