Barge Trip Down The Canal

Service users were taken to Southbank Marina on one of the Birdston Day Care minibuses. The sun was shining as they sailed along the canal and took the beautiful scenery in. Everyone tucked into lunch provided by Birdston Day Care which included sandwiches, chocolate and crisps.
The service users departed and visited the Campsie Glen Café, where they were served tea, coffee and some delicious cake.
The day ended with a detour through Milngavie so they could bask in the sun a little longer. Margaret Muir said, “it was a smashing day, I thoroughly enjoyed it!”
