Residents Enjoy Shirley Valentine At The Kings Theatre

Lillyburn Care Home residents enjoyed a lovely day out to see Shirley Valentine at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow. The Theatre is one of Scotland's most historic and significant theatres. It opened in 1904 and has played host to top stars and shows ever since.
To start the day off residents were treated to a delicious lunch at the Griffen Bar where they enjoyed the atmosphere and great food. The bar was packed with other ladies looking forward to the show!
Anna had not been to the Theatre in many years and was ecstatic to be back, as it was one of her favourite places to go, commenting “it was just like old times.”
