Getting Ready For Summer

Clyde’s unit took advantage of the good weather this week and started potting some of our summer flowers to brighten the garden up just in time for the summer. The ladies and gents were able to teach the staff a thing or two about gardening as many of our residents are green fingered gardeners.
Donlad enjoyed being outside to help with watering the flower beds. He took great pride in his garden at home and this brought by some nice memories. Mona was a member of her church flower club and shared her knowledge and advised us on the correct way to plant them. Afterwards we all sat with tea and cake discussing our next venture in the garden. We all enjoyed sharing different stories about what else we could do to make the garden even more colourful.
