Chinese New Year Celebrations

Birdston Day Care celebrated Chinese New Year with a special Chinese themed lunch prepared by our kitchen staff at Birdston Care Home. 2021 is the year of the metal ox and this Chinese New Year is celebrated worldwide.
Service Users thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the various choices on offer, which included popular Chinese treats such as spring rolls, sesame prawn toast and much more. We also held a Chinese New Year themed quiz in the afternoon with our service users.
