Getting Fit & Having Fun at Day Care

There was quite a bit of excitment in the lead up to dance guru, Donn Neo's arrival at Birdston Day Care, as he's such a lively character that we couldn't wait for his arrival! He sounded like a hoot and we were not disappointed!
From the minute Donn walked through the door everyone was completely smitten. His music choices were upbeat and from the moment he started the session the atmosphere in the room was fantastic. He had our service users singing, throwing cushions in the air, whooping and shouting and doing aerobics in their chairs. All in the name of stress relief and feeling good!
It had a great effect on service users and staff alike and many people were asking when Donn would be coming back before he had even left the building. After the show/session, Donn distributed some relaxing incense to bring everyone back down from the exercise high, followed by a cold drink and snacks to cool them down. Our service users thought it was such a successful event that many repeat visit were booked immediately!
