 HOUSEKEEPER

Do you love helping and connecting with others? Would you like to make a real difference to the quality of life of the elderly? We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Care Home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times.

Full Time – 35 hours per week

Some shift and weekend working required

 

Job Purpose:

To manage overall cleanliness and hygiene of the Care Centre.

To prepare, manage and participate in the cleaning rota.

To manage a housekeeping budget.

To order and manage stock

To manage a team of Domestic and Laundry staff.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

Previous supervisory experience

Housekeeping background

Good communication skills- spoken and written English essential

Team player

Satisfactory PVG Record Check

 

Desired:

Care for the Elderly experience

Highly organized

Knowledge / experience of health and safety legislation

Driving Licence
