We are now looking to recruit a Deputy Manager who is caring, enthusiastic, committed, and professional with the desire to deliver excellent care to our new and existing residents and be part of a team that is committed to provide long-term and short-term care for our residents.
The successful application will report to the Home Manager and will work alongside a well-established and experienced team which is made up of Team Leaders, Staff Nurses, and Senior Care Assistants. The role is also supported by a Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements
· 1st Level Nurse (Nursing Care Home)
· Previous management/supervisory experience
· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in English
· Team player
· Genuine interest in working with the older person
· Satisfactory PVG Record Check
· Current NMC Registration
Desired:
· To have the ability to work effectively within a Team Environment
· Care for the Elderly experience / qualification
· Minimum two years management / supervisory experience
Role
· To oversee and maintain the care of Service User’s within the Care Centre.
· To plan, manage and monitor the delivery of nursing and care that meets all the resident’s needs.
· In the absence of the Manager, to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Care Home, and ensure that all Company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements, are adhered to within the defined timescales.
Hours will be an allocated a mix of supernumary and clinical. This may be variable depending on the needs of the business.
Main Responsibilities:
· You will be responsible for Clinical Standards
· Ensuing all Staff Members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Care Home, and to the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of Service User’s.
· In a Nursing Care setting, interact with Service User’s to ensure that their health care needs are being met and resolve any problems where appropriate.
· Liaise with the Community Nursing Care Team regarding Service User’s health care needs
· Maintain effective communications with Management, Staff, Service Users, Relatives and any other concerned bodies.
Welcome Bonus : Terms and Conditions : £500 payable after 13 weeks and a further £500 payable after 6 months service. Pro Rata for Part time. N/A for Bank or via an Agency
