A Day In The Sun

Sunday afternoon was a perfect summers day filled with the smell of BBQs, sunshine and laughter throughout Linwood. From years of experience, our residents know that you need to make the most of the weather when you have it and so our beautiful garden areas were a popular choice to spend the day.
A hot topic in the garden was a discussion on how much everyone enjoyed their own gardens when they lived independently, bringing back fond memories for all.
The group all took part in planting sunflower seeds we received from a close family member of one of our nightshift nurses who is involved with the Girl Guides. They all had a lovely time discussing how nice they will look once they start to grow while we treated ourselves to some ice cream cones and refreshing cold drinks. Margaret said “
