Mosswood Fundraising Day A Success

Mosswood held their annual fund-raising day on this Sunday, to raise money for the Mosswood Residents fund. The fun day was opened by Buddy the lion which the children were delighted to see.
There were a number of stalls and plenty to do such as a raffle, bouncy castle and face painting. Food was available from the barbeque and home baking was provided in the tearoom.
The event was supported by the local community taking part on the day, local businesses supported the event by donating raffle prizes which would contribute to the resident’s fund.
The residents got involved by making many items to sell and helping on the stalls. A huge £1600 was raised for the resident’s fund, which will be used for entertainment and activities. Mosswood Care would like to thank everyone involved, the day was a great success due to the support from family, friends and staff.
