Healthy Benefits of Chair Aerobics

Lillyburn residents were getting active this week with our much-loved Donn, the chair aerobics instructor. Everyone really enjoys the monthly sessions with Donn, especially Peter, who over the years has developed a great relationship with him. The residents react very well to Don’s Unique style & Technique.
It is a well-known fact that gentle physical activity is the number one contributor to living longer and improving your quality of life - even if you don’t start exercising until your senior years. Embracing this approach, physical activity plays a key part in the day-to-day lives of Pacific Care residents where we hold regular exercise sessions from chair aerobics to music and movement followed by some relaxation therapy.
