Mad Hatter Mayhem at Mosswood

A Mad Hatters Tea Party was held today in Tay Wing. The room was set up with long tables and chairs and decorated with large Alice in Wonderland inspired flowers and butterflies. Residents got into the spirit of the event in the weeks running up to the party making their own Mad Hat creations.
The staff got into the spirit too with many dressing up for the occasion as Playing Cards and Mad Hatters too. George’s daughter brought some fun wigs for those that wanted to wear them, so George picked the “see you Jimmy” hat and laughed as he tried it on. Evelyn's son joined in trying a very fetching red wig that made Evelyn laugh.
There was lots of singing, dancing and general fun. Mrs Arthur said the cakes were delicious. Everyone enjoyed the tea and homemade cakes the kitchen provided.
